Day 1

Keynote speaker Milton J. Perkins, SPHR, CPC will open your mind with an overview of the changing face of the workforce and how it affects both the public and private sector, challenges human resource managers are encountering, and the trends in Montana demographics.

Chris Clasby and Leslie Mullette with MonTECH, the Center for Excellence in Diversity Education, Research, and Service, will give you valuable insight into fundamental state and federal requirements for providing reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities.

Dr. Janice Presser, CEO, Gabriel Institute will present cutting edge research on how to identify team roles, who is best in what role, and how to fit people together to give you a dynamic team.

Day 2

Kathe Kountz, Viv Hammill and Pat Wise will present an interactive discussion on The Doorway to Diversity, dispelling myths common to the recruitment and selection process.

Barbara Wagner with our own Montana Department of Labor and Industry will give an overview of Montana’s economy and labor force, and what they mean for you.

Dr. Lyle Seavy will bring you tools useful in Transition Management. He will follow-up with a general question and answer session based on HR management questions you send in. The sky is the limit!

More Fun -- be sure to join us Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Montana Historical Society Reception. Entertainment is by Forte, an acappella singing group. Tours of the museum, good food and good folks make this a must-attend event! Bring your family at no extra charge.
